Previously called Google Webmaster Tools, Google Search Console is an essential tool to help your SEO and get insights from Google.

Here is our email and the steps below to claim ownership, share and link your Google Search Console property.

1. Connect to Google Search Console (GSC)

Connect to the GSC Dashboard : https://search.google.com/search-console/welcome

2. Make sure you are connected as owner account

Find in the upper-left dropdown the list of domains you have access. I you can’t find it, go to step 3.

Enter the Settings (bottom-right of the left menu).

You can share a Google Search Console this way, please share with ” indexwebmarketing@gmail.com ”

3. Validate domain or URL prefix

If not done yet, claim your domain or a URL Prefix. The option should be available in the upper-left menu.

Follow the steps provided by Google (multiple methods possible).

Once done, you will receive a success message that is worked (below was automatically approved).

Validate you are using the correct version of your site, including HTTPs and subdomain if you have a partial view.

4. Connect to Google Analytics

Connect to the Analytics Dashboard : https://analytics.google.com

Validate you are in the correct property, the go to the Settings (left menu bottom right) and go to Linked Products – Search Console.

Validate existing linking inside of Google Analytics, and delete if its the wrong one.

Either from the Settings from GSC or from the Google Analytics’ interface, and pull the correct property (full URL, include https).

 

5. Linking complete !

Congratulations ! You will see a confirmation like this.
